Our Catholic Christian faith is the heart and soul of our school.

We profess our fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Our school is consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus & the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Our school is entrusted to the patronage of St. Joseph, St. John Bosco, and St. Benedict.

Each grade level is under the protection of a Holy Archangel: Gabriel, Raphael, & Michael.

Each team is given its own patron saints as role models in the Christian life.

Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Celebrated regularly in our chapel.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament | Holy Rosary

Prayer by our students throughout the year (along with other devotions).

Stations of the Cross

Celebrated during Lent.

Sacrament of Confession

Offered regularly and available to anyone upon request.

During Advent and Lent, local priests visit the school to hear confessions, give advice, or simply impart their priestly blessing, according to the wishes of each person.

A Prayer for Those Working to Defend Human Life

God our loving Father,
grant wisdom to those who govern us,
compassion and courage
to those who work to defend human life,
and safety and care to every human being.
For You alone who formed us in our mothers' wombs,
and who call us home to heaven,
are God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Fr. Joseph Matlak

Fr. Joseph Matlak was born in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, in the English countryside. He graduated from Nicholas Breakspear Roman Catholic Secondary School in Saint Albans, Hertfordshire, then spent a “gap year” teaching English in Normandy, France. In 2007, he graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History, then went to St. Josaphat Seminary at the Catholic University of America, Washington DC. On October 1, 2015, he was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Bohdan Danylo. In 2018, he completed a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) from the Catholic University of America. He is the administrator of St. Basil the Great Parish in Charlotte, and Holy Cross Mission in Columbia, South Carolina, as well as chaplain of Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School.

Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School is made up of future priests, religious brothers and sisters, and lay men and women in many professions.

God has prepared a divine vocation for each person in service to the Church and the world. We are called to help our students discover, appreciate, and dedicate themselves to their vocations in a spirit of attentiveness to God, humility, and charity.

Pray fervently that the Lord will raise up many holy vocations for service in His vineyard.

Prayer for Vocations

God our Father, we thank You for calling men and women to serve in Your Son’s Kingdom as priests, deacons, and consecrated persons. Send Your Holy Spirit to help others to respond generously and courageously to Your call. May our community of faith support vocations of sacrificial love in our youth and young adults.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
