Art is an essential form of human expression and vital to any culture. It fosters creative problem-solving and provides light for the artist to express his/her innermost ideas.

 

In the art department, we encourage students develop their visual artistic knowledge in a variety of skill sets. We seek to develop versatile artists who are open to experimentation but also proficient in technical skills.

We introduce students to a myriad of methods, movements, concepts and styles. We study the history of art, as well as its socio-economic, intellectual, and religious impact in various contexts and ideologies. This allows students to see the connections between life and art in any age.
