Spring 2026 Tryout Information

SPRING 2026 TRYOUT INFO, TENTATIVE TRYOUT DATES/TIMES, & LOCATIONS

ALL spring sports are considered cut sports.
Students can only try out for one (1) cut-sport per season.
Students can only play one (1) HT sport per season.
All student-athletes must have their paperwork up-to-date in DragonFly prior to tryouts.
Participation fees will be added to your athlete’s DragonFly account after cuts are made, and must be paid within one (1) week of the final roster submission.
When a student-athlete decides to participate in a sport, they are expected to fully commit to that obligation. We understand that athletes are making dual commitments to outside organizations, however if you are playing an HT sport, our coaches expect that HT is the priority. Failure to fully commit may result in removal from the team.
The tryout process can be an unsettling situation for students, parents, and coaches. This can be the first experience of rejection while transitioning from a recreational environment to interscholastic athletics. Tryouts are necessary to field a competitive team from a large number of participants. Holy Trinity has an estimated 500 students participating on 27 teams this year.

7th/8th Baseball

Program Interest Meeting: Sunday Jan. 11 @ 7pm (HT Gym or Library)
Official Tryout Dates & Times **Adjusted 1/21**
- Sat. 2/7 (12:00-3:00pm) @ Jack Hughes Park
- Mon. 2/9-Thurs. 2/12 (After School @ Independence Park)
- First Cut evening of 2/10
- Last Cut and Final Roster posted by 2/13

- Wed. 1/28 (3:15-5:00pm)

- Open Field Location: Freedom Park (Dilworth Little League Lower Fields - enter off East Blvd.)
Official Tryout Dates & Times:
- Mon. 2/2 (3:15-5:00pm)
- Tues. 2/3 (3:15-5:00pm)
- Wed. 2/4 (3:15-5:00pm) if needed
- Tryout Location: Freedom Park (Dilworth Little League Lower Fields - enter off East Blvd.)
Practices will start at Park Road Park in late Feb/early March
All home games played at Park Road Park
