World Languages

• 6^th Spanish/French/Latin – students will begin to learn to communicate in the selected language, focusing on the four essential skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students will also acquire cultural and mythological knowledge while gaining language fluency.
•  Language Wheel – students will spend 6 weeks learning each of the offered languages. Topics covered include alphabetical and phonetic systems, colors, basic greetings, etc. 

 7^th Spanish/French/Latin – students will continue learning the four essential skills laid out in 6^thgrade.

•  8^th Spanish/French/Latin – students will continue learning the four essential skills laid out in 6^thand 7^th grades.
•  Spanish 1/French 1/ Latin 1 – an invitation only high school level 1 course. Students will earn high school credit upon completion of this course.
